About this position

As an Allround Maintenance Technician you will perform independent maintenance, inspection and repair work on the electrical and mechanical installations of the production lines. Apart from the scheduled maintenance, as a Allround Maintenance Technician you are responsible for the trouble-free operation of the production lines and you immediately solve acute malfunctions so that production is little affected. With a good focus on continuous improvement, you will contribute to a qualitative production process.

• Sees work safety as the most important condition;
• Good command of the Dutch language. Command of the English and/or German language is an advantage;

What are you going to do?

As an Allround Maintenance Technician, you will make a constructive contribution to projects and in doing so, you will come into daily contact with all facets of technology such as, PLCs, robots, drive technology, measurement & control technology, pumps, transport systems, power supplies and refrigeration.

The Allround Maintenance Technician reports to the Manager of Technical Services. Work takes place in a 3-shift system. When the situation calls for it, we ask your willingness to work occasional overtime.

Main duties and responsibilities:

• Resolve (acute) malfunctions;
• Preventive maintenance to prevent breakdowns;
• Corrective maintenance;
• Suggesting and implementing improvements for the benefit of a fault-free and qualitative production process. Taking care of a structural and durable solution for frequently occurring failures;
• Identifying and resolving (to prevent) unsafe situations, so that these are kept to a minimum;
• Participating in the on-call service.
