We are looking for an Assistant Team Leader for our production department.
As an Assistant Team Leader Production at Dedert IJs BV, you play an essential role in creating a safe working environment and maintaining high quality standards within the production department. Your contribution is invaluable to the success and growth of the team and the organization.

Your profile:

• 3 – 5 years of work experience;
• Good communicative skills;
• Approximately 5 years of work experience as an operator;
• Experience with leadership;
• MBO 3 diploma preferably in process engineering;
• good command of Dutch, English and German language.

What will you be doing?

As an Assistant Team Leader at Dedert IJs BV you will have the opportunity to combine your skills and passion for the food industry in a dynamic and stimulating working environment. You will be busy with the following tasks:

• Actively supervise safe working according to procedures and work instructions;
• Encourage employees to behave safely;
• Initiating improvements in procedures, work instructions and factory processes;
• Immediately reporting unsafe situations;
• Act as an emergency response officer in emergency situations;
• Regularly carrying out observation rounds;
• Carefully signing off work permits; Actively contribute to Root Cause Analyzes for continuous improvement;
• Responsible for maintaining order and cleanliness in the workplace.

You are also closely involved in maintaining quality standards, personnel planning, training, absenteeism interviews and motivating employees. You play a crucial role in efficiently carrying out the weekly planning, analyzing deviations, optimizing occupancy and proactively identifying production problems. Your duties also include:

• Proactively drawing up education and training plans;
• Conduct constructive absenteeism discussions if necessary;
• Provide valuable input for assessment and selection interviews;
• Actively participate in improvement teams and make proposals for improvement;
• Accurately process bookings of consumption in the ERP system;
• Effectively inform colleagues and higher management about production processes.
