To be eligible for the position of Plant Controller at Dedert IJs BV within the finance department, you must meet the following job requirements:

• An HBO diploma in the field of Business Economics, Controlling or Accountancy;
• 3-5 years of work experience in controlling, in a production environment;
• Mastery of the Dutch and English language;
• Strong analytical skills that provide insight and support for decision-making and accurate forecasting;
• Result-oriented and motivated;
• Experience with standard costing and Activity Based Costing conceptual approaches.

What will you be doing?

As a Plant Controller you work together with colleagues throughout the organization, with a focus on Operations. You act as an advisor to the Operations Director and his team, proactively supporting decision makers with operational and strategic management decisions. You provide insight into what is happening numerically in the operation, advise on this and contribute to the development of the financial department. Dedert IJS bv is in full swing, for example with generating dashboards in Power BI.

• You analyze factory performance and monitor targets for production deviations versus standards.
• You create daily, weekly and monthly reports for all operations and support managers with forecasts and ad-hoc requests.
• You are responsible for the standard cost process within our ERP system.
• You are involved in project and investment controlling, prepare business cases for new investment projects and manage the capex budget.

As a business partner for operations, you are the ‘go-to’ person for financial topics. You are a member of the operational management team, participate in reviews and audits and participate in daily meetings within production
